Bryanna, lovingly known as Bry, is a Puerto Rican-Floridian wife, cat mom, plant enthusiast, and clinical herbalist. She is the spirit and face behind Leona del Sol Botanicals. A lifelong nature lover and plant collector, Bry has always believed in the life giving power of Mother Earth. Her curiosity blossomed into a calling to understand the healing power and ancestral wisdom that plants carry within them.
Bryanna studied herbalism at the Modern Herbal Academy under the mentorship of clinical herbalist and educator, Lyani Powers. Immersed in the world of herbal medicine, she felt a deep desire to bring that knowledge home to nurture her family and friends through plant based care. What began as a personal passion has since evolved into a mission to provide holistic healing for her community and beyond. Bry believes true wellness begins with accessibility and that herbal medicine should be within everyone’s reach.
With a deep respect for the land and integrity of each plant, Bryanna sources organic and wildcrafted herbs and uses only high quality ingredients in her handcrafted preparations. She also supports local farmers and small businesses whenever possible, believing that community and sustainability go hand in hand. Her mission is to inspire and empower others on their herbal journey through education, community, and collaboration, blending ancient ancestral practices with modern herbal techniques.
Leona del Sol, meaning “Lioness of the Sun”, draws inspiration from Bryanna’s zodiac sign, Leo, which is ruled by the Sun. A Leo through and through, Bry thrives in the light, much like the plants she cherishes. The Spanish translation honors her Puerto Rican roots and her reconnection with Taino ancestry, carrying forward the forgotten herbal wisdom of those who came before her.
Each of her offerings is lovingly crafted by hand, infused with intention, love, and a spritz of her golden spirit.
